Business versus Flexible Business on Qantas. When I look for a business class domestic airfare with Qantas the only option is Business - no choice of Flexible Business with the higher status credits. How do you get an option to book the Flexible Business fare??

Peter,

I just this afternoon booked four seperate r/t trips BNE/SYD for august. When you book leave economy in the box as it pops up then click confirm..It will then list all available flights, fares from economy thru flexi/fully flexi.

Peter...maybe there is just one type of Business fare now?? (same 'status credits' for all Business fares)

i'd suggest contacting QF directly if you seek clarification.. (only 1 type of Business fare appears when I do a search as well)

I don't know what flights or destinations you have been looking for, I can confirm that you can book business or flexible business on the Qantas site with varied status credits. I just booked a couple of business tickets SYD-LHR and will get 280 status credits for that flight, I also had the option of a higher fare as business flex with 310 status credits.

You can book other fare types at certain 3rd party websites like iFly.
A quick search there includes the fare available on Qantas.com, plus the option to book a fare in the C bucket, which is in the "Flexible Business" instead.
