I agree with captain and Qantas will not survive as it is now - more changes ahead. My prediction that Qantas became similar to Air NZ - one route to London for prestige and one to LA for money. Air NZ has advantage here because can combine both.
I too have been flying Q for decades, long haul is still as good as ever, the negatives are these contant changes mostly to the detriment of FF customers.
