Telstra service debacle! I can not make or send sms - on global roaming-does anyone have any good ideas on how to fix this as the telcos 24/7 staff not seem to despite 4 online chats. Thanks a desperate friend mike in the UK.
Just a thought, is global roaming activated on your service and was the change made at least a few days before travelling? As you can receive calls, I'd suggest that it's probably switched on, but may not have been done properly or may not be fully processed. Just a thought!

Buy a local SIM card. 3 in UK offers 15 pound prepaid unlimited data.
