Hong Kong Runway- Is it just me or is it so bumpy compared to others?! I heard from an Airline Exec friend of mine at CX that when the new airport was built it was built using larger than normal concrete slabs creating a real bumpy takeoff/ landing, anyone else agreee?

Yeah, I land there regularly and I reckon it is bumpier than most others.

I have noticed this too, on both 747's and A330's.

Yes was bumppier than usual yesterday evening after landing in from new york espically just after the front wheel touched down
