Do the exit row seats on Virgin Australias 737-800's recline?

I know on some airlines you gain in terms of legoom but lose out as the seats don't recline.

Anyone used the ones on VA? Would be happy to pay the extra to nab one but not if they do not recline.

Anyone correct me if I am wrong but as far as I am aware on the -800's the:

Forward most overwing exit row DOES NOT recline. (Row 13 or 14 depening on config.)
Rear most overwing exit DOES recline (Row 14 or 15 depending on config.)
Also note the row directly in front of the exit rows will NOT recline.

This is to reduce obstructions in the event of an evacuation.

So if you decide you'd like to sit in an exit row and you want it to recline, request a seat in the rear most overwing exit row so you can have the best of both worlds. :-)

Yup, where there's one exit row (737-700, E190) the row in front will not recline into the exit row but the exit row will recline. Where there are two exit row the first won't recline but the second will.

Above is correct with the 738s. I feel like I have much more legroom in the first row though which is why for short flights under 2hrs I'll take it.
