More choice on the menu for Virgin’s business class flyers
Apr 09, 2021, 06:22 PMI don't understand why they don't just launch a system where passengers can make their meal selection online prior to departure. This has the double benefit of the passenger receiving their choice, and a reduction in wastage for VA.If Virgin wanted to add a little 'wow' factor into their Business ...

Here is Virgin’s new ‘buy on board’ menu for economy class
Mar 25, 2021, 08:36 AMIt is interesting that they literally have NO hot food available for purchase - not a hot dish, hot sandwich/wrap. Nothing that needs to be heated. This is bizzare considering the lengths of some of the sectors. I'd imagine this is so VA can remove the ovens from the back galley...

Virgin Australia’s new business class menu takes off
Mar 25, 2021, 03:32 AMThe food looks good but i'm a little surprised that they don't differentiate between a one hour SYD-MEL flight and a nearly five our SYD-PER. It's a good offering for a short east coast flight but I feel it falls short for a longer coast to coast flight and it would be nice if it wasn't an ...

Here is Virgin’s new ‘buy on board’ menu for economy class
Mar 24, 2021, 09:02 PMAt the end of the day, knowledge is power. I rather make a purchase when I know EXACTLY what i'm gonna get for my money. I don't want to get on a three hour flight hungry because my ticket says a 'meal' will be served to find out it is a cereal bar or some sugary snack I wouldn't eat....

Here is Virgin’s new ‘buy on board’ menu for economy class
Mar 24, 2021, 06:21 AMIt's funny to read these comments as an Aussie based in europe. We've been dealing with 'full service' airlines adopting the BOB model for years now. And not just on short hops but some longer euro routes hitting the four hour mark. BA, Iberia, Aer Lingus, TAP, SAS, Finnai...

Qantas is cracking down on illegal buying & selling of frequent flyer points
Jan 01, 2019, 02:33 AMSorry if a little OT but kind of along the same lines....something that I find absolutely incredulous about domestic travel in OZ (well with QF anyway) and that i've not witnessed anywhere else in the world is the ability to get onboard an aircraft without once showing any form of ID. Which has ...

Business class passengers using the economy loo?
Dec 16, 2018, 09:31 AMWhen I fly on Malaysian's A330's in J they have a pretty weird J class config.....there are 30 J seats in the forward cabin. On most aircraft the 30 seats would occupy the whole cabin between the front galley and the galley at doors 2. But on MH they've squeezed the 30 seats into a smaller area...

When are Malaysia Airlines Kuala Lumpur lounges re-opening?
Jan 29, 2018, 09:33 PMAgree to a point guys. But in CX and QF's case at least they gave a decent amount of notice that the opening date wouldn't be met. And thankfully there were other decent alternatives in T3 also. The frustrating thing with MH is that since the closure for renovations they have been publishing a re...
