We've consistently been told Jan 31 or Feb 1, and are now waiting for an update on this from Malaysia Airlines... will share if when we get it :)

I did pass through KLIA just this month and asked one of the reception staff in the regional lounge - she mentioned the satellite lounge will re-open in March. Not sure how true this info is....I guess we'll get an update at some point.

Exactly. Even CX Lounge in LHR were delayed by long time. At least the new F lounge is fabulous (and looks like a scaled replica of HKG The Pier F.)

Agree to a point guys. But in CX and QF's case at least they gave a decent amount of notice that the opening date wouldn't be met. And thankfully there were other decent alternatives in T3 also.
The frustrating thing with MH is that since the closure for renovations they have been publishing a re-opening date of 29JAN. Then, literally five days before the re-opening they simply remove all references to it and don't give any further updates. Unlike LHR T3 the lounge situation in KUL is a debacle with capacity issues at the moment. The last time I entered I turned around again and left, instead preferring to sit at the gate it was so busy.
