Have they announced an opening date for the connector? They hadn't even started building it the last time I was at LAX.

Good question, I thought you were only allowed to go airside in a terminal you were departing from when travelling internationally?
Therefore if you arrive into TBIT, you could use the lounge there; then go landside and walk to T4 where your domestic leaves from.
