The Thai Airways lounges in BKK is a disgrace. Avoid if possible. The newly refurbished CX lounge is the way to go. I believe AUSBT did a review of the refurbished CX lounge at BKK.

You can use the CX lounge. I have done it before when I was flying with QF back to SYD.

The official Qatar lounge (according to oneworld website) is the Thai Royal Orchid lounge (which as a home lounge is quite nice)
But oneworld CoS rules would also let you into the new Cathay or older Qantas lounge
