Yes, unfortunately QF494 From Melbourne to Sydney this Monday the 10th is an un-refurbished product BUT, Qantas change their aircraft ALL the time. i fly about 8 times a year and they have always changed my aircraft sometimes twice, so keep your fingers crossed
sometimes they will need an aircraft in sydney to then go to perth so they do little hops. and your flight is at night so they would want to put a re-furb on if it was going to perth after.

although sadly unlikely, as most of the refurbed 330's would be in perth for the redeye flights to the east coast
