QF2 diverted to PER this morning. One report suggests departed DXB 3 hours late after failed attempt to repair fuel pump, second pump failed in flight. Anyone know more?

The West Australian has an article on it. Sounds like your version is correct. Due to depart PER at 13:00 WST.
