I am currently QF Gold, with membership anniversary at the end of January. I will be flying in December to retain my gold membership, but will definitely not reach Platinum.
In this respect, is it possible to claim points/status credits for my December flights after January (i.e. after my membership anniversary is over)? This is so the status credits are allocated to the following year instead.

Status Credits are not for you to claim them when you're ready. They are credited to you by the airline pretty promptly after your flight.
