Can you transfer a Virgin Lounge pass to a family member? I earn them through my credit card and status but have access anyway. Is it possible to give a pass to a family member?

I tried to do this. You can't transfer them (I had them via a credit card but I have Gold so I get in anyway), and they just go to waste. I rang the customer service center to see if I could transfer. Bit of a waste hey?

Yep what Arty said I had the same experience when I went up to platinum. Still a budget airline trying to pose as a full service carrier.
That's a pain. I have four passes sitting on my gold account. Would have been nice to treat the parents when they next fly.
