I think Hawaiian Air (HA) flies out of Sydney and Bisbane.

Last time I flew with them they had a sign on the counter upgrade to Business $799.00. I offered $100.00 and was knocked back. I was seated in the first row in economy watched through the the curtain as the people in Business tried to get comfortable. I prefer Jetstar on the B787 just wish the hotel rooms were cheaper.

I guess that's my question. Is JQ or HA better. I'm VA platinum so there'd be plenty of status credits...

Worth looking at if you can get a cheap fare and need a change from the regulars. Economy too is good by US standards. Their new business class, currently being rolled out should be a step up.
