Hi,
I am flying Qantas A380 business between Singapore and London just before Christmas.
Of the available seats I am tossing up either 3K or 18A.
3K will get served dinner earlier and is in the smaller forward Cabin. However, it is very close to the toilets and galley, I am keen to get a good nights sleep. I would like to know how people have found row three? Is it noisy or hard to sleep in due to its proximity to the toilets and galley.?
If it is noisy I will just go for row 18 and wait a bit longer for the food service.
Any advice would be welcome.
Cheers

Seat 3K is in the first class section. I have sat in 3K and given their is only 14 seats in first it not much of a problem. I assume you mean 13K, this is in the smaller cabin at the front. This my preferred section in the business section, as there is less traffic and I have had little problem sleeping in this front cabin.
The only problem with 18A and 13K if the person sitting next to you in the aisle seat is asleep you have to climb over them. This applies to all window seats in business seats in business class. If you want direct access to an aisle without some annoying you, I select the 2 middle seats.

I'm pretty sure 3K on Qantas' A380s is in First.

Row 13 over Row 18 for sure.
1. You're not above the wings - so better viewing opps.
2. You're in the small 3 row cabin - very private feeling
3. you're tucked in by the window, and between you and the Galley/toilets is your fixed shell bed.
(and besides, its a small number of business class passengers using the loos, not hundreds of Economy... - though it's always refreshing to go for a walk downstairs to see how the other half live :-)
