I'm flying economy to Budapest Sydney - Singapore - Munich -Budapest and return Budapest - Frankfurt - Singapore - Sydney next month. While I know I'm fine for Sydney and Singapore with my Velocity Gold for lounge access I can't find any options for Munich / Frankfurt / Budapest. Is there any reciprocal arrangements I could take advantage of to access lounges in these airports?

Thanks Salty J - it specifically specifies that I don't so I was hoping someone might know a work around. I am trying a status match as that appears to be the only way currently.

VA Gold Global Lounge Access broken down by carrier operating the flight here:

The way the lounge access list is structured, if your city isn't on the list, you're out of luck.

Flying SIA, unfortunately it looks like you won't have access lounge access rights in Munich, Frankfurt or Budapest.

That said... you might strike it lucky with confused check-in staff.  Suggest that you ask the "I'm VA Gold, do I get lounge access?" question at check-in.  I struck it lucky in Sao Paulo flying Etihad, as VA Gold, I knew I had no lounge rights, but the check in staff weren't 100% sure so gave us lounge passes anyway.

Hi Simon, I don't believe you were 'lucky': Sao Paulo is included on VA's access list for Gold passengers on Etihad flights (Etihad is different from SQ in that VA Gold/Platinum usually get access wherever Etihad has lounge arrangements, unlike with SQ where it's only to the lounge SQ actually operates). :)

I've been wondering about this also.
Since Singapore Air is Star Alliance, could you try a status match thru another Star Alliance airline (e.g. the United one Chris has referred to previously)?  Even with a challenge, you get a "Trial Status" Gold that is valid for 3 months of the challenge.
The question is whether they would let you in to the Star Alliance lounge on a SIA ticket that has the VA FF details on it and a separate United (Star Alliance) Gold Trial Status membership.
Anyone have any success with this?
