Hello everyone - I have an upcoming trip on Finnair's A350 and have been reading about a ladies only bathroom onboard.
Is anyone able to share which bathroom onboard is the ladies one? It doesn't appear to be marked on the seat maps. As a male passenger, I'm wondering where to sit myself, if there's going to be a bathroom I'm barred from using.
I've actually never flown on Finnair's A350 aircraft (only the old A340 and A330's) but I did look it up to find it's the left-hand side toilet between the 2 business class cabins (behind 8A and in front of 10A).
Hi Newbie, The 350 is great. I liked the 10A or 10L bulkheads as there is no one in front of you, but you are far enough back from the galley for distraction, light , noise avoidance. Crew set up a snack station on the bulkhead surface in front of the middle seats after the meal service. I have no issue with Economy customers boarding and walking past, but some dislike it.
The toilets between the two J cabins are notably bigger than the forward bathrooms, so definitely use those. The ladies bathroom was not exclusively reserved for ladies when I flew a couple of flights, but it is better stocked with amenities for ladies like hand creams and so forth.
For dining on the long hauls, you can choose your main course in advance so look around on their website. Note that ex Helsinki there is an extra 'chef selection' option, which at the times I flew was Roasted Reindeer...! Tastes just like chicken ..!! ;-) Ok, I'm joking, it is slightly gamey, but nice enough. Have a great trip.

Hi flyingvisit - thank you for your advice! I currently have 4A on the way to HEL and 11L on the way back, so I can sample the main and mini cabin. I've never flown Finnair or the A350, so I'm excited to see what they have to offer! I will definitely be giving the Reindeer a try if it's available, can't be any worse than Kangaroo ;)
I've flown on the Finnair A350, excellent aircraft and business class BTW, and the ladies' loo was available for males to use. It's stocked with more of a female-oriented selection of toiletries.
The detailed AusBT review of the Finnair A350 business class includes some photos of the ladies' loo and had this to say about access: "Finnair says the ladies-only loo will be made available to high-flying hommes in the event that there's a higher than usual proportion of men to women in business class, but as a rule it'll be reserved for women."
The A350 J seats are themselves great BUT they are far too close together - much more so than on the other airlines using the Cirrus seat that I have experienced. The result is that they are a squeeze to get in and out of, and the flat bed just isn't long enough for the taller frame. And I defy you not, at some point, to end up with your toes inside the entertainment box at some point.
Shame, really, but that's what happens when you try to cram in too many seats. I now avoid the AY A350 in favour of MH's A380.

That's an interesting point and one I've not heard before, I will have to let you know how I go. I'm 6'3 and had a similar problem on the AA 787 where the bed wasn't long enough, the LATAM 787 J bed is the most comfortable I have tried so far.
