Does anyone have any experience earning Qantas status credits on Iberia flights?
I've booked several Iberia flights between Madrid and other European cities. They were dirt cheap discount economy flights. On the booking confirmation from Iberia the class/fare is listed as 'A'. The booking also appears on my Qantas profile and the class/fare is also listed as 'A'. But when I check the Iberia earning table on the Qantas website 'A' is listed under 'Business'. Does that mean I will earn status credits at the Business rate (which doesn't sound right at all)?
I tried to post a link to the relevant part of the iberia website but the comment got stuck going for moderation, but essentially yes 'A' class tickets are indeed low cost tickets on Iberia.
Checking the partner earning table on Qantas (like you did) it does list 'A' class tickets as business earn rate. I'd be surprised if thats what you ended up earning but hey you never know your luck.
Ps Iberia status credits take about a week or so after your final flight on a single PRN to show up on your activity statement.

In December mine took about a week or so to show up so thought it may be worth a heads up. Might be that my wait is more the exception than the rule.
