Yes, I'm sure there has been plenty of discussion on this subject in the past, but grateful to receive the latest advice from fellow travellers to Europe.   I will be in Prague and London.  Both for 10 days.   What's your advice about getting a local SIM card upon arrival in Prague and London, is there one for both these (and others, I suspect) or ....what?     Last year in Berlin, I bought a local SIM card for Germany and it worked fine except I felt like a criminal being directed to a Turkish convenience store owner who did it all out back.     Grateful to hear comments.

I've used 3 UK 'Feel at Home' for all Europe trips for the past 4-5 years. It's a prepaid service that allows data & calls to be used/made in 30-40 countries around the world. Costs are 10 pounds for 1gb up to 25 pounds for unlimited from memory.

When do you travel and what is your entry point.

From 15 June Europe becomes a single digital marketing, so essentially you get free roaming with any European sim.

Travelling in August and Prague (transit Helsinki) is first port of call.      Maybe buy the SIM at HEL airport ?
