Hi all, I've been planning potential christmas travel and I I have a quick question Regarding QF earn rates flying with an Airberlin Flight number on Etihad metal. It looks like this may not possible but I am curious as the Qantas earn calculator showing earn on Airberlin from Abu Dhabi to Berlin. Can anyone shed any light on it?
Long Answer - See below from Qantas Website partner earning page.
"Qantas Points and Status Credits are earned on all eligible fare or booking classes, except on airberlin and airberlin affiliate codeshare flights operated by an airline other than Qantas or a oneworld alliance airline."
I earned status and points years ago on Airberlin with QF - I think they were oneworld members but then they went towards Etihad they dropped out of OW and then QFF benefits were removed.
