Yes, AMEX Explorer can most definitely convert points to Hilton Honors and SPG.Conversion rate is 1:1 with Hilton and 2:1 with SPG.(1 AMEX Gateway point = 1 Honors points, or 2 AMEX Gateway points = 1 SPG Starpoint.)

Michael: No issue at all with you mentioning sign-up offers or earn rates on credit cards - the issue flagged above was that posting or offering to post 'referral links' which have a personal benefit for the referrer aren't allowed here under our comment policy, or indeed, by AMEX's own T&Cs.(Under that same policy, I'm not allowed to post any of my own 'referral links' or codes here either, in the interest of keeping things fair for all.)

On top of all the cards mentioned here, there is also the David Jones Amex, with the same transfer rate, ie 1:0.5, but a much poorer earn rate than cards mentioned above.
However, there is currently a 30,000 MR point sign-up bonus (after meeting the spend criteria ofcourse), which translates to 15,000 SPG points. To top it all, it comes with a $99 annual fee only. To put cherry on the cake, existing Amex Card holders are also eligible for the sign-up bonus.
