Does "Extra" SCs roll over and count towards maintaining Gold?

Before July I was a Silver, Status Credit: 445 - trying to target 500 for Gold.

I took a connecting one-way flight during July (all flown on the same day):
Leg 1: Thailand - Singapore (Status Credit: 60)
Leg 2: Singapore - Malaysia (Status Credit: 40)

Now, my current SC: 545 (445+60+40)

The description for Velocity Gold says that in order to maintain Gold, I need 400 Status Credits.
The problem (correct me if I'm wrong) is that the summary says that currently I still have 400 SCs to go....

Should it be saying I need 355 SCs to go? (due to the "extra" 45 Status Credits above 500 that I have earned?)
I have earned additional SCs a few days ago, and these are being counted as part of the 400 to maintain Gold, but the 45 from July are still not being counted as part of the 400.

If there is no 'rollover' by flight, technically, I earned over the 55 I needed to hit Gold (60 SC) during Leg 1. So at least Leg 2 (40 SC) should be counted....Right?
Or
Is this because the new "review" date is a year AFTER the flights?

How can the extra SCs be considered to reach Platinum (which I don't think I'll hit) but not for maintaining Gold?

I contact Velocity and this is what they said:
For maintaining your Gold status, it will depend on the Status Credits and Eligible Sectors youll earn within your current benefit period. In line with this, you must earn 400 Status Credits and 4 Eligible Sectors before your review date.

Thank you all!

Calculations are done on a daily basis, and any Status Credits earned on the day you go up a level, are treated being earned on that day. Anything in excess of the earn requirement vanishes, as you requalification year starts off basically the next day.

As the requirement to achieve platinum remains on a 12 month rolling calendar, any Status Credits earned in the last 12 months will continue to be counted toward earning Plainum, and will roll off after 12 months.

The easiest way to track your actual balance is to use the mobile app, which includes a graph showing forward expiry, which is quite useful.
