A little bit of bad news for Qantas Frequent Flyers on the Air Berlin front. Qantas has updated the earnings tables with the following note

"Effective for travel on or from 15 November 2017, Qantas Frequent Flyer Members will no longer earn Qantas Points or Status Credits on flights with an airberlin or affiliate airlines flight number."

AB has a loan from the German government that lasts through to November. They are in talks with LH (and some other airlines) about a sale of assets.
They are stopping long haul flights from TXL soon (no word on the DUS flights).
