I think returning to FRA via Perth opens a market they don't have access, providing a better service to Europe than any other airline. Obviously FRA is a Star Hub so you will be able to get to all of Europe with one stop from Perth.
Would code share with LH to open a new market for them.
Should be able to carry more weight on their 787 than QF will on PER-LHR
I'd say many NZ to the larger Regional Australian cities by the end of the year. Probably even more so if the relationship/JV with VA collapses entirely and the JV is not renewed by the end of 2018.
e.g AKL to CBR/HBA
then followed by AKL-NTL/TSV/ROK/MKY.
Even if the later 2 is on a seasonal basis like MCY.
