Hi, I have a booking on Asiana, and I want to add my United Mileage Plus number to the booking. When I look at the itinerary on Asiana's website, and I click to add FF number, the pop-up window says you can add other Star Alliance airline program number. But when you click on the drop down list of airlines, Asiana is the only airline that appears in the drop-down. Anyone else had any luck doing this on-line? If not I'll have to call them, but was trying to save myself the hold time.
I don't have online booking experience with Asiana but have flown them a lot to the US and also to Seoul and within Asia. Like you I am also a UA frequent flyer and have always found it easier to call and give them by frequent flyer number.
