Has anyone been able to book a Qantas award with Alaska lately?

Hi everyone, The past 6 months I have been experiencing issues with Alaska. I can even today find F redemptions MEL - LAX with QF (qantas.com) and when I try and book it with Alaska (Alaska.com) it keeps failing with a red error about trying a different search. Anyone found a way to get round this? I have tried ringing the helpline but no luck.

I was always able to book with Alaska in the past. Has anyone on here been able to book a Qantas flight through Alaska in the past 6 months?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It seems that no one on AUSBT has any ideas because it's typically not a done thing for Aussies to use Alaska points on Qantas.


May I suggest you hop on over to Flyertalk and ask over there in the Alaskan section. There is even a thread dedicated to Qantas bookings with AS miles and someone has recently suggested that there are ongoing IT problems with QF and AS bookings.

Ah thanks for the suggestion henus, I think its done a bit from what I have seen but will chase it up there.
