It's almost been a year now since the 2 formally announced "Codeshare Flights And Frequent Flyer Programme Partnership" (Singapore Airlines Media Centre Aug. 2017) I was hoping for more competition to CX on flights from AUS to Asia, and on to other regions. Go to the AA website and it's coming soon... Can anyone share an update on this?

How on earth is a codeshare between Singapore and Alaskan going to provide more competition to CX on flights from australia to asia where there are not going to be any codeshares between australia and asia?? Common sense really.
