Hey guys, currently a Silver QFF member, but have a bunch of flights already booked and paid for over the next few weeks which will bring me over the line for Gold.

Anyone know if they are likely to give me access to the lounge based on the flights already booked and paid for?

It's unlikely as Qantas only recognises status credit accrual post-travel.

You will need to have the Gold Card or Gold F/Flyer number on your boarding pass.

They won't let you in unfortunately, the same goes for Virgin however.

They will not allow - I had a situation where the flight I was on tipped me to Gold Status but even then they would not allow me access to the lounge.  I even had the complimentary visitors pass and because I was in Heathrow, I was not allowed to use it.
