I have used it. Took plenty of screenshots. It didn't work for most of the duration of the flight but at the end it did. The selection of show's was fairly small and it used a considerable amount of battery. The idea is really good.
I downloaded the Virgin Entertainment Ipad app only to be told on Saturday (while flying to Sydney) that there is only one aircraft in the fleet that has the WiFi capability and its used on long haul international only. I was offered one of the tablet TV things instead which I declined.

Has anyone used Virgins new inflight WiFi system? I haven't been an aircraft yet that uses it. If you have let us know what it's like.
