Hi all, apologies if this is answered already elsewhere. I am Gold QFF and travel regionally on CX/KA a lot out of Hong Kong. Often I am on tickets cheaper than full economy, which mostly do not earn qantas points. So I’m curious whether I can attach my asiamiles (no status) membership to my tickets, but use my Gold FF card to still access a lounge? Anyone had experience doing this? Many thanks in advance!

Yeah I do it all the time. You can do it that way and just flash the QF card at check-in / lounge to receive the benefits.

Another option is to make the switch at the boarding gate to the AsiaMiles number to make it all easier. This also increases your odds (albeit low) of upgrades!

Technically the first option is not allowed but have never had a problem.

Great, I will give it a go next time I travel and report back, glad to know someone else has already tried it though! And I wasn’t aware FF details could be changed at the gate but also worth a try. Thanks for the tips!
