Is Virgin Australia Part of a Global Airline Alliance?
Sep 03, 2016, 12:23 AMWhat about becoming an official partner of the 'Etihad Airways Partner' alliance? This alliance seems to becoming more and more official. My airberlin card sports a bigger Etihad logo in the top left than the little OneWorld logo in the bottom right. Same with Alitalia.

Virgin Australia's Melbourne Airport lounge Premium Exit now open
Mar 07, 2014, 10:42 AMLandside was actually quite helpful recently. I had 5 hours to waste before an international flight (after an inbound domestic arrival). I picked my 2 pieces of luggage off the belt and walked up the stairs and into the lounge with them no problem.

Dec 16, 2018, 02:19 PMI'm with patrickk with Mt Cook Village. Get in a heli or plane for some good views or hike up to Sealy Tarns (3h return). It's breathtaking part of the world and one of the best spots on the South Island. It's a one way road so many people skip it, but it's definitely worth it.
