Is there anymore information about where I can to see the 787 and what it will be doing on the 15/16th November at Sydney? Is Qantas selling close ups or tour tickets?

Qantas is still finalising details - I'm sure that they will be all over this site and the rest of the media once times/details are finalised... My guess is that there will be public openings on the 15th, then the 16th will be more limited public viewings and maybe some more staff oriented events (it's their 91st birthday). I'd have thought that viewing/touring would be free...

Qantas offered 1200 tickets to qantas/jetstar staff for both melb & syd, via an online ticketing site, one ticket per person for half hour time slots.  They are making the tickets available over 3 different days and time slots to allow for time differences at various ports, the second round of tickets will be released today at 2pm (the first slot booked out in about 15 min).  Tickets are non transferrable... its unknown what they will offer the general public

We've had an invite from Qantas today for the media-only tours of the 787 in Sydney on Wednesday AM – no further info as to what options where are for the public to get a gander at the Dreamliner, but we're chasing that up and hope to have something to share on Monday...
