SQ seat map release time

Hi,

I'm on a Singapore Airlines new config A380 flight to Sydney in a couple of weeks and trying to select my seat, there is only a few seats currently open in the business cabin for me to pick from. I realise the flight maybe be full, but is there a pre-determined time that unallocated seats will open up on the seat map, such as Qantas' T-80 hours rule? Thanks.

I just had a look through Expertflyer, and all the seats that are unavailable are indeed occupied by real people. None of the seats are 'blocked' by Singapore Airlines, so what you see is what's available.

I note that the bulkhead rows are available and they might be a bit more comfortable since you have more space around your legs for sleeping.

Actually I can't see the bulkhead seats open. But I will check back in when OLCI opens.
