I'm flying economy from Paris CDG - London LHR with a same day connection from London LHR to Australia in British Airways first class. BA's website isn't 100% clear on lounge access at Paris CDG.

Anyone think I can bluff my way into the lounge at Paris CDG with no Oneworld status, just a first class sector onwards from London?

Hi DWB6265, I've edited your post for clarity.

Yes, you should be able to get lounge access in Paris, assuming your flight to London is with British Airways or a Oneworld airline.

The Oneworld lounge policy is here and says:

  • First and Business Class customers connecting on the same day of travel, or before 6am the following day, can access the lounge when travelling between an international long haul (a oneworld international long haul flight is defined as an international flight marketed and operated by any oneworld carrier with a scheduled flight time longer than 5 hours) and an international short haul or domestic flight (and vice-versa).
  • Lounge access will be determined on the international long haul ticketed flight (either First or Business Class) regardless of the ticketed class of travel on the international short-haul or domestic flight.
  • You must be prepared to show your boarding pass or itinerary showing travel in First or Business class on the international long haul flight, in order to access the lounge before your international short-haul or domestic flight.

Assuming you are flying British Airways from CDG Terminal 2, you should have access to the Cathay Pacific lounge which is open from 6am to 9:30pm.
