Does anyone know if there's any way to transfer status and or points from Qantas (Platinum) to Singapore airlines Kris flyer? Qantas just doesn't have the right schedules or prices for flights in and out of Perth to Asia.
Hi Sandra, unfortunately, there is no way to transfer Qantas Points and status credits out to any other airline.
Your best plan of action would be to request a status match with Singapore Airlines to KrisFlyer Elite Gold status (equivalent to Star Alliance Gold), perhaps with some forward bookings to support your case.
You could also aim for elite status with Virgin Australia, which is relatively easy to achieve with Singapore Airlines business class flights (plus 4-8 VA-coded flights) and gets you similar perks as KrisFlyer Elite Gold, including lounge access and priority benefits.
If that's not high enough for you, next up is SQ's PPS Club and Solitaire PPS membership which you can only get by spending more than S$25,000 (A$27,000+) a year on SQ business and first class flights. But these get you a lot more perks, probably similar to what you'd be used to as a Qantas Platinum.
