I've previously qualified for Loyalty Bonuses prior to my Qantas reset date and used the 90 day election window to obtain the status credits in my next membership year so that I effectively start the new year with 50 status credits in the bank. This year I took the points option for my first few loyalty bonuses knowing that I'd accrue 3 Loyalty Bonuses in January in the hope that I could start the new year with 150 status credits in the bank (I have a reset date of 31 January 2020). Now I'm worried that there might be some sort of system issue that prevents me from collecting SC's in this way. The T&Cs seem to be silent on the issue. Has anyone else had any luck deferring multiple Loyalty Bonuses into a new membership year?

I haven't used multiple loyalty bonuses in this way, but as you've done previously I deferred one bonus to my new membership year just recently. So long as you make the election in the window and meet the other annual requirements like the 4 eligible flights, I would assume it's a completely legitimate way to use your bonus(es).

I'll be trying the same once my anniversary swings by end of Feb.

I did this last year. Was awarded a bonus 2 months before my reset date and had already got my 600 for renewal. Validated it immediately after reset and started the new year with 50 points.

You can deffer multiple loyalty bonuses. They will appear in the landing page of your profile as a selection pane (points or SCs) per bonus awarded.
Thanks for your advice everyone. I waited as planned based on what was said above and this worked. It's a nice feeling not to be on 0 for the first day of the new status year!
