i have purchased a ticket travelling from mauritius to dubai , dubai to Kuala Lumpur by emirates .
then i have a connecting flight from Kuala Lumpur to sydney by Malaysian airlines.
as my trip is on 2 tickets will my luggage get checked in all the way through to sydney .will i have issue at KUL for connecting flight as i won't be allow to go through immigration.
Check with the airlines to see if they have an interline agreement that provides for them to through-check luggage and issue boarding passes for the second ticket.
If not, then you will have to go through immigration in KUL to retrieve and recheck your bags.

2 tickets means that they are unlikely to check your bags all the way through.
