I booked a BA flight from Nice to Gatwick through BA website. I entered my Qantas FF number and was wondering if we can gain access to the BA lounge at Nice. I'll be QF gold when travelling in October.

You will have access to the lounge as lounge access is provided to OW sapphire & emerald members. It's a 3rd party lounge shared by a number of airlines. Just check on MMB and/or ask the check in staff for lounge details. It has been a while since I last flew to NCE but I do have a slight recollection that the lounge is before security but I may be wrong so it's best to check with the staff.

I was in Nice a few weeks ago. If we're talking the same lounge it's after security. It appeared to be just one big lounge that served all (or most) airlines - big bland agricultural sort of place.

BA does not have lounge at NCE and uses a 3rd party lounge in the non-schengen part of the terminal (after security and passport control).   It's a fairly small lounge with a small selection of drinks, crisps and nuts, and cold sandwiches.... so don't expect too much.   The only redeeming thing about the lounge is the free-wifi.    As mentioned by Waynec, OW Emerald and Sapphire members flying BA have access to this when you show them your boarding pass and FF card (I got asked to show my FF card when I was there).

Thanks to all, it was a surprise recently when I checked my Qantas FF account bookings and saw the BA flight listed, so thought I'd ask the question about the lounge.
