These days there are many benefits to owning certain credit cards, with the most exclusive cards offering perks such as airport lounge access, free travel insurance and concierge services. MasterCard’s Priceless Cities program aims to take this a step further by offering all MasterCard holders (yes, even debit card holders!) access to exclusive deals and experiences, in a number of cities and destinations around the world.

Currently available in over 40 locations around the world, the program offers discounts on hotel stays, restaurant bookings, spa treatments and a range of other goods and services.

The program also grants access to unique experiences that aren’t available elsewhere - for example, in Sydney you’ll be able to get priority seating at Rockpool Group restaurants, with access to a select number of well-positioned tables exclusively reserved for MasterCard cardholders.

Past offers have included even more unique experiences, such as a Blue Mountains gourmet getaway, curated and hosted by Neil Perry at the Emirates One&Only Resort in Wolgan Valley.

There's also plenty of opportunities if you’re heading overseas, and it’s definitely worth taking a look at the Priceless Cities website for deals and experiences at your destination. In New York City you’d be able to access a cooking demonstration by a celebrity chef, or a football clinic with an NFL player.

In London there’s discounted theatre tickets, a cocktail making class at Megaro Bar, and plenty of high-end dining experiences.

While most of the experiences and deals are available to all MasterCard holders, some deals are restricted to certain card levels only – for example, access to Japan’s members-only Roppongi Hills Club is limited to World/World Elite/Platinum/Titanium/Gold MasterCard cardholders – so check for any conditions before booking.

Deals and promotions can be accessed on the Priceless Cities website, and you’ll need to enter the first 8-digits of your MasterCard to register for the site.
