Hilton Edinburgh Carlton opens with Marco Pierre White restaurant

The new Hilton Edinburgh Carlton hotel is now open, welcoming guests into its 211 spacious rooms and bolstered by a flagship restaurant created by none other than Marco Pierre White, one of the world’s most renowned chefs and a frequent international guest on MasterChef Australia.

Simply named ‘Marco Pierre White Steakhouse & Grill’, you can of course order up a succulent steak or dine upon a selection of White’s best-known signature dishes such as French onion soup, beetroot and goat cheese salad and fried haddock served with triple-cooked chips.

The restaurant also offers wine tasting experiences and private dining rooms to cater for all tastes and guests, with the hotel within walking distance of the Royal Mile and St. Giles' Cathedral and less than 1km from Edinburgh Castle.

You’ll also find fare in the Executive Lounge – accessible to guests staying on the Executive floors and to Hilton HHonors Diamond members booked in any room type – such as complimentary breakfast in the mornings and snacks and drinks throughout the day.

In the rooms themselves: 40-inch HDTVs, a modern bathroom and working desks, while meetings and other events are also catered for within seven dedicated meeting spaces, with the largest catering for up to 200 guests.

Members of the Hilton HHonors loyalty program can earn and redeem points at this hotel, with Gold and Diamond members enjoying free breakfast each day and complimentary space-available room upgrades, while all members also enjoy free wireless Internet.

As an added bonus, HHonors members who book a stay of three nights or more at this hotel by October 31 2016 can net a bonus 5,000 HHonors points atop what they’d usually earn if booking direct.
