Singapore will get its first Hotel Indigo property in 2016 with the opening of the Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong hotel in 2016.

Located in the Joo Chiat neighbourhood of Katong in the eastern part of Singapore, the 131-room hotel will be a short 15-minute drive from Singapore’s Changi Airport and in close proximity to the upcoming Marine Parade metro station.

Complementing the host of food and beverage around the vicinity, Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong will feature an all-day dining restaurant – ‘The Great Room – and a second food and beverage outlet.

Guests staying on business can utilise a meeting room, free hotel-wide wireless Internet access, a free ‘express start’ breakfast or a ‘grab & go’ option for those on the move, and a self-serve business centre.

There’s also an on-site laundry room for guest use, and a fitness centre for staying in shape on the road.

IHG currently has six hotels across four brands in Singapore: the InterContinental Singapore, Crowne Plaza Changi Airport, Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre, Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium, Holiday Inn Express Singapore Orchard Road and Holiday Inn Express Singapore Clarke Quay.

Those will also be joined by the InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay in 2016.

Members of IHG Rewards Club will be able to earn and redeem points at the Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong hotel.
