Hilton HHonors members travelling to Hong Kong, rejoice: the chain will open a new Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Mongkok next month, proving an affordable alternative to the five-star Conrad Hong Kong: currently Hilton’s only HK location.
Roughly a seven-minute walk from the Mong Kok MTR station, guests are well-placed to take the Tsuen Wan Line to Jordan, Tsim Sha Tsui, Admirality and Central, with connections to the Airport Express at Central/Hong Kong stations.
There’s a room here for every budget, starting with standard and deluxe rooms…
… with harbour views – and in some cases, balconies – priced at a premium…
… through to junior and deluxe suites, naturally with harbour views as standard from the top floor of the hotel.
All rooms offer 40-inch HDTVs, working desks and mini refrigerators, along with other Hilton basics like in-room safes, coffee/tea-making facilities and an iron and ironing board. Wireless Internet access is also free for all guests, as is access to facilities in the business centre.
When it comes time to dine, Eagle’s Garden serves up breakfast between 6:30-11am and Chinese and other Asian dishes and desserts throughout lunch and dinner…
… while Garden Bar opens for cocktails and light food between 5-11pm.
In your spare time, go for a splash in the rooftop pool with views of Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island, get some laundry done in the self-serve laundromat or hit the gym with a range of cardio and weight equipment.
Members of the Hilton HHonors loyalty program will be able to earn and redeem points at the hotel, with Silver members and above receiving free bottled water daily and both Gold and Diamond guests enjoying complimentary hot breakfast and space-available room upgrades at check-in.
