New iPhone, iPad app helps plan meetings in different timezones

Trying to schedule a conference call, meeting or other event which spans more than one timezone can be a pain – especially when you're dealing with several different countries, when various holidays and religious observances come into play.

CWT 78 BizDays, a new iPhone and iPad app from Carlson Wagonlit Travel, helps you nail down the most convenient day and time for those multi-city calendar items.

Why '78 BizDays'? According to CWT, "there are only 78 days during the year when everyone in the world is at work".

The app works to find those common times, beginning by narrowing down your options and then letting you choose the best fit time and date.

Once you've got the times locked in, the organiser of a meeting can send participants an email meeting notification directly from the app.

78 BizDays is free for the first three months, after which you need to subscribe using in-app purchase.

For more information, check out 78 BizDays at the iTunes apps store and peruse CWT's own 78 BizDays FAQ page.
