Seabourn Quest relaunches with its most extensive refit
The luxury small-ship cruise line has overhauled suites, dining and public spaces across the vessel.
Seabourn Quest has completed its most comprehensive drydock in the line’s history, emerging with updated suites, dining venues and public spaces ahead of its continuing Mediterranean season.
The most significant public space transformation was The Club, which has been reconfigured with a speakeasy-inspired feel.
The new bar design, updated lighting and a revised layout intended to improve flow between the bar, lounge seating and dance floor for evening gatherings and live music.
Seabourn Square, the ship’s social hub, now has a warmer, more residential atmosphere with new furniture and bistro-style seating.
The Observation Bar received updated carpet and furnishings, while the main pool deck debuted a new sound system, lighting and renewed teak decking.
Atrium corridors and stairways were recarpeted with patterns drawn from the movement of water.
In the dining venues, The Colonnade received new flooring, carpeting and seating, with an updated service line to better showcase live cooking.
The Restaurant has new carpet and drapery, lightening the feel while preserving its character.
The spa was updated throughout — new gym equipment, a redesigned reception area and refreshed salon finishes.
Across all suite categories, guests will find new mattresses and wool carpeting. Penthouse and premium suites also received new veranda furniture.
New suite carpet is Cradle to Cradle certified Dansk Wilton wool, and all mattresses were deconstructed for recycling. Lounge furnishings were donated to a local Italian non-profit.
Seabourn says the refurbishment diverted more than 20,000 square metres of carpet from landfill, with the material planned for reuse as carpet padding in a future fleet renovation.
The 450-guest Seabourn Quest is currently sailing a series of seven-day voyages between Dubrovnik, Venice (Fusina), Istanbul and Athens, with calls at yacht harbours and islands across Croatia, Greece, Montenegro and Turkey. Voyages can be combined into 14- and 21-day itineraries.
