The bubble is only one way until after NZ election. Then they will think about it. It's like Queensland - they won't do anything to be blamed for a new case. The federal Govt is going the same way with talking of banning other o/s travel entirely in 2021. They must be joking with a realisti...

It's terrible that Australians cannot be trusted to stay at home for 14 days. Many people have their own home and do not live with others. It would be far better for everyone if they were permitted to go to their own home - report in or wear a tag on wrist and just get on with life. This is rathe...

All this makes my almost new Westpac Velocity card somewhat pointless. Literally. Have stopped using it and reverted back to Citibank Emirates Mastercard. At least there is some hope of using the points in the future.

Any word on switching Velocity to KrisFlyer. I’ve been caught with a couple of 100,000 Velocity points that were on their way to be converted to Kris. Do we think this will return as an option?

I think many countries in Europe are already there. The difference is that they take the risk seriously but it does not dominate everything they do. I'm just redeeming some EK Business rewards points, and it seems the 'value' of the points has decreased over the Covid crisis. Formerly an $8,000 Business return to Europe would cost about 110,000 points. Now it is working out around 190,000. Has anyone else seen this and/or ( for admin ) has th...

The lack of a clear 'plan' is scandalous, but many would say that is par for the course. I would not risk Queensland until the Premier says " we would have to reach x cases per day for x days before we closed the border'. She cannot and will not do this. It is all so vague. The tourism sector is ...

We booked a bundle of flights ( about 20 ) for March / April 2020 and they were all replaced with vouchers. Then we received just 3 new Future Flight credits, which will work fine. Trying to call Virgin does not work and online forms are not replied to. Has anyone dealt with this successfully ? A...
