It will be months... I hope to get home to Qld for Xmas. I'm an Aus citizen but there's only a flight into Sydney from Singapore. And then I'd need to do the 14 days. And then I'd have to figure out how to get to my place in Qld. Then I might not be allowed back to Singapore. I'll wait this out....

Given the entry rules into Singapore at the moment (I live in SG) this reads like planes can maybe stop to refuel? Only SG citizens can renter at the moment. Resident permit holders need to apply for permission to come back into SG if they're currently overseas and want to get back ‘home'.

I've noticed EK crew can be a bit hit and miss these days. They used to be reliably fabulous but not anymore. Qatar crew aren't quite as polished but are way friendlier.
