    I think I would rather fly in a Jetstar 787 economy with the bundle that includes food/status credits/points than economy with Qantas on a 737. Same goes with the 787's business class compared to the 737.

    Because business class passengers pay around 4 times more than economy class passengers??? Because profit margins are ultra slim on economy passesngers while business class makes airlines good margins. You get what you pay for.

    You can't compare one airline's oldest and worst hard product to another airline's newest and best hard product. Almost 100% of the time if you did this comparison with any two airline, it would have the same result as you have concluded above.
