Th e whole concept of aircraft carrying a large weight of duty free booze is ridiculous. Surely if there is to be duty free sales they should universally be at the ARRIVAL airport . The overloading of overhead bins is also a real safety hazard.

The picture of the mockup of the Boeing 2707 shows that the cabin size is almost identical to that of the 737/ A320 but much longer . Two abreast in Concorde would have been much better. Any supersonic aircraft requires a long slender fuselage to minimize drag.

A350 seems excellent choice , has already been operating non stop Singapore to NY successfully for a couple of years. Qantas has unique ultra long range requirements and obviously this is a niche market for a small number of aircraft. It may well lead to further orders for A350, possibly both 900...
