Yup, for Heathrow, EK1/QF8001 works nicely at a 7:45am departure. Couple of Gatwick departures around that time as well.

Jack's creek wagyu was also awarded world's best steak 2 years in a row. Not a bad choice for those flying F.

BBC reporting UK will be following suit with similar restrictions, which I'm sure will affect a significant amount of travelers here. QF, EK, EY, QR routes into the UK would be all affected. Perhaps a welcome relief for the Asian legacy carriers!

It can work for BA since they don't really have a direct subsidiary LCC unlike QF, VA, LH, SQ, etc.Problem with the 'Yes, if the airfare comes down too' option is that there's a truckload of empirical evidence out there that shows this never happens.
