• So the PER-NRT route should be possible as a Velocity redemption going forward even though that proposed route is not part of the codeshare agreement.Hope it works out favourably as opposed to booking via KrisFlyer as with KrisFlyer it makes more sense to route via SIN as as a partner award costs...

  • Couldn't agree more PER-SIN is a joke in a B737. Especially now extra legroom seats are $90 each way and even then it's barely bearable.

As a OW Emerald would love to use them out of PER but they need to get the A330 back, sort the QF status earning out for economy tickets and fly to KUL and back at sensible bloody times. There must be so many people in the same boat it's ridiculous that they lose all this bus...

  • They need to improve status credit earning with Qantas as currently if flying economy from PER-KUL then no status credit are earned on regular tickets. Now that they have downgraded the route from A330 to 737 there is no incentive to fly business until their revolutionary 737 businesss config app...
